How to play Master System music on the console?
![]() |
I was searching for this and couldn't find a definitive explanation.
Is there a way to play a song exported on VGM and convert to .sms to play on the Master System? |

Thanks!!
For running in the emulator, it already worked. But on the console I'm making some tests. |

I tested it on hardware when I wrote it, but the FM part is known to be broken as I had no way to test at the time. | |

I think it does not work because I exported on the furnace tracker. The earlier vgm version that is supported for exporting in furnace, is 1.50.
Do you think it might be the case? |

I exported a deflemask version out of furnace. Then exported the vgm file, and it worked!!
I'm testing first in the japanese master system. The only thing it doesn't showing in the console is the art screen..it's showing a distorted green and black screen. |
