Wanted: Photos/Scans of Master System Internals
Post Posted: Thu Oct 20, 2011 1:24 am
I have recently been adding Master System Hardware Images to the wiki: http://www.smspower.org/Development/HardwareImages-Index

We now have pictures of the internals of 14 different Master System models with, in most cases, corresponding component listings. Unfortunately, some of the images are poor quality and for many models, we are missing an image of the underneath (solder) side.

Can you provide a better quality version of an existing picture, or one of the missing underside views? Or, do you have pictures of a Master System model which is not yet featured? If so, please reply to this post, attaching the image(s).

Thanks

I believe all of the following models exist, yet we do not have internal pictures of any of them.

Is there anyone who owns one or more of these systems and is able to spend a few minutes with a screwdriver and camera?
    - NTSC Master System I with Hang On (only) built-in
    - NTSC Master System I with Missile Defense 3-D built-in
    - NTSC Master System I with Alex Kidd in Miracle World built-in
    - PAL Master System I with Missile Defense 3-D built-in
    - PAL Master System I with Alex Kidd in Miracle World built-in
Ideally, we would like images similar to those on this page for every model. However for these systems (and any other models for which we have no images), any internal picture you can provide will be better than none at all.

We're also still looking for better quality versions of images already present in the Hardware Images section.

I opened it for cleaning and took a few photos. Are you interested in Tectoy Master System Super Compact? Are the photos good enough?

The built-in game is "Sonic The Hedgehog".

* Edit: temporary photos deleted *

We certainly are! I will add a new page to the Hardware Images section soon.

Please do! I look forward to seeing whether your machines differ from those we have seen so far.

Excellent :)
(I'll delete my 'huge' temporary files)

If I come across another not listed system, I'll post here.

Thank you. If you have photos of systems which are listed, please post those too - we want as many pictures as we can get.
