Does a Sega DI 8300 (American Sega AI Computer) prototype exist?

I'm doing some research on the Sega AI Computer and found that Sega was working on an American version of it called the DI 8300. I'm trying to find out if a prototype could possibly exist and where it could be. Any leads posted here will be crossposted to my subreddit, r/Sega_AI_Computer | |

Kevin from AssemblerGames owned a prototype at some point, but I'm not sure if it was a Japanese or US one.
The prototype stuff you can see there: https://web.archive.org/web/20071211124637/http://assembler.roarvgm.com/ai_8300.... Are his stuff from an old article on AssemblerGames. PS: I've been asking him for a while to dig them up (so we can dump them) and just pinged him on that. |
