Wanted: Music for a coding competition entry
![]() |
I'm making a small Sokoban-like game in collaboration with the user BG.
We've got the coding and the graphics covered, but non of us knows how to make music. Could any of you tracker-wizards be interested in being part of the project? Nothing fancy (to begin with). A single tune and maybe a few soundfx. Just enough to have something presentable for this year's coding competition :) If it sounds interesting, I can send you a small demo-ROM to give you a feel of the game. |

Well, I knew it was a long shot.
I guess I'll just have to try to take my first baby steps with Mod2PSG2. It's all greek to me :D |

Nope, you just had to wait.
I can pull stuff out of my nether regions in short periods of time, and I can contribute a converted VGM driver (does a simple table compression). Just a warning, they can get quite big, so be prepared to use a banked ROM if you want lots of long pieces. Here's an example. I'm keen to make a custom driver for my own entry, as I'm finding that it2vgm.py can get somewhat limiting, and I want to try doing some slightly more interesting stuff. |
