Brand new Sega SC-3000+SF-7000 Colecovision loader
![]() |
At the end it works (at least on emulators). Not yet tested on real hardware. Required SF-7000 disk drive. No CV numpad supported (so far).

Interesting!
How does it works? It is scanning and patching opcodes to remap ports? |

Changed boot process to initialize SC-3000 hardware. Changed sound ports. Patched interrupt handling (NMI=> INT) routines. Created space into rom to put sg-1000 joystick routines to emulate the CV ones. At the end I wrote a simple multi game floppy loader. |

I guess my question was, are you loading pre-modded Coleco-to-SC3000 ports? (and creating those conversions is already a substantial amount of work) or is the loader patching/converting them semi-automatically on the fly?
I would be curious to see how far one could go with trying to automate the conversion. I imagine a PC tool could somehow do it. |
