what's your fav music/most impressive music/most addictive music/most tracks of music in one game?

The soundtrack for The Flash is impressing me lately. Unfortunately I didn't release the VGM pack yet :( It's got a Streets of Rage feel to it but it's also incredibly atmospheric and somehow more "hard" sounding. It's still a crap game though.

For most tracks, I'd have to go with Cosmic Spacehead - it's got more tracks than any other VGM pack, and I think most of them are good.

The Space Harrier theme from the Japanese BIOS wins for being the most addictive as well as "the best", and most impressive. You can listen to it for hours on end. At some points it reaches 7- or 8-channel polyphony not counting percussion.

The Flash has a great soundtrack. And I don't think the game's that bad, either.

One game who's music I just love is Zillion 2. It just sounds much better than it should for PSG.

The Flash, especially the intro tune, has got that wonderful Dutch funk sound, and uses effects I haven't heard in other compositions. I think that there must have been a dearth in sound drivers for the Master System, perhaps Sega neglected the PSG since they had FM sound...
Another really nice MS soundtrack is that of Air Rescue. It sounds so much like an arcade game.

For the GG, two Compile games come to mind; Puyo Puyo and Powerstrike 2. The latter in particular is very impressive, since it does so much with such a simple soundchip, and without resorting to complex sounds.

I hate to say this, but the only songs I think are really impressive technically on the SMS are ones I'm making right now :)

but yeah, Sonic 1 had some nice tunes to it (they even used self-echoing! most people had no clue what the hell that was).

There are many SMS/GG games with excellent musics, or games witth one or two good musics. Try this games...

i allways like the music to golden axe warrior, double dragon, and time soldiers, i wouldnt say its the best, but i like it

A lot of good music mentioned on this thread, but I found amazing anyone remembered of Ecco. Really nice tracks like the Mega Drive versions.
