Hello,

Now I am not lying here, I was thinking the exact same thing, shall we do some investigating around Adeliade and see whats out there??

I am sure we could find a guide as to where clubs and stuff are.

I can make websites so we could host one for free just stating about club missions and all that sort of stuff.

Well, deciding on the website name is the most important part. You can just as easily organise it through the forums or by email, once you get some other people interested.

once we have people joined up we can democratically choose the name by rigging a poll. just so everything looks like it is above board lol.... just joking!!

it would be a good way to meet other sega freaks and find others with similar interests whether that is programming or playing fantasy zone. we could organise meets to trade, play games and hang out with other sega fans. once we have some people signed up we can get everything going, so come on guys, if ur interested reply to this post

we already have jacko keen to join, who is next?

Could be cool, but you need a goal and mission statement, like SMSPower has, otherwise it's a gathering with no purpose and will have the tendency to fizzle.

The name is definitely a clincher and has to be good. I'm, unfortunately, am an engineer and have limited creativity compared to some of my graphic-designer friends (they're seriously good at what they do). Something like

S3 (short for "SA Sega Society" or similar - it's 5AM in the morning here...)

but much much better, would be good for a handle.

And what would be the purpose of such a club?

asynchronous.

i was thinking that the goal should be to get people to stop using gaming to avoid social contact and get people playing games more socially. the only restriction should be that we should concentrate on sega games and sega systems including sega's psx2 and xbox games. the aim of the club should be to provide the introduction so sega fans can trade, program or play together.
