Hello,

Just checking but has anyone done a VGM pack for the Castle on the SG-1000 system.

If no one has done one I have done one so if you would like to hear it just reply here.

Cheers,

Jacko

I think no one has done it.
Did you get all the music?

Title, Main in-game game music, but also:
- fairy music
- water music
- end music (I think)
If you don't, I have hundred of savestates you could use to find the music tracks back (if the game was not already hacked).

Hello Bock, (I originally put the wrong person, sorry!)

I havent got the music for

fairy and the water sections

I have got the title screen, when the dude dies, when he gets squashed and game over.

Could I have those savestates?

Cheers Jacko

P.S. if you want to send me the save states here's my E-Mail

Should I Get The Fast Music
Post Posted: Wed Jan 26, 2005 11:51 pm
Hello Bock,

At last I went through your savestates and I found the end and some other music that I have ever heard but you have saved it after those musics start and thus become useless to dump.

I was just wondering though, should I get the music of the main theme when it speeds up?

I am also not sure where you find the fairy music or the water music.

Thanks

Jacko

Try the state before and play a bit.
For exemple, in the files I sent you, state 47 was taken during the ending sequence. Load state 46. You just have to do one jump and open the red door to get to the princess and get the ending.

I'd say yes. This is part of the game to have two different speeds.

State 00 put you in front of a fairy. You encounter I think 2 fairy during the game, they have a specific theme.

The water music is when you pick a swim suit. It's true that I don't have a savestate to access one easily now. I know I had 100 more savestates but I cannot find them there (they were on my computer at school).

See this map:

There's jump suits on the bottom level. If you know to play The Castle, you can get there from the beginning in not much time. 1 or 2 hours if you're new to the game, but it worth it because this game is great :)
