Confusion over /OE and /CE

Ok , i was looking at my carts, and i might of figured some of my problems ...... For one, i have the eprom's /CE and /OE connected together to /crtOE , Now , i know it's not the way it should be , but i hadn't notice what i did before , as it worked to run eproms .. My real question is : What is /OE on the roms originally connected to ? I think i have seen it connected to A16 on the 5235 .. But am not quite sure.. /CE should come from CE OUT of 5235 .. (which i have re-wired now, but still tied to /OE .
Could someone also give me a quick overview of the routines SMSreader does? What control pins are high and when ..?
Do CE out on the 5235 follow directly CE IN? Actually no , ce out should be High , when accessing Sram right?
Please clear all that confusion..
