I guess we can talk about this.

A very small portable device that ships with SMS Plus and lets you upload ROMs over wifi. Oh, and it emulates some other 8-bit console too.

That's my main concern... Non integer scaling hurts my eyes, downscaling scares me. But given the size, is it noticeable? Is it dumb sampling or is it interpolation?

I don't know, but seems like too small to even imagine what's in there.
Alex Kidd would be like - what, 4 pixel tall?

It's reduction by 3 vertically so 24px Alex will be squashed into 8. The Snail Maze snail will be 3 pixels tall. But the screen is so tiny, is that still below your ability to perceive it?

I really don't know. Are there some close up pictures of the screen? I didn't see any.

Just an approximation by resizing these screenshots to 80x64 in Photoshop... but it's hard to imagine that this device will be very playable. It could be fun just to watch it, or maybe mod it into some sort of nostalgic model 1980s living room by placing it in a miniature CRT shell and attaching a gachapon SMS...

Snail would become impossible. And Ultima IV totally unreadable...

I doubt it‘s actually usable as intended. As a portable emulator it’s probably nothing more than a novelty. Might be interesting to develop something especially for the thing, though, something that‘s specifically taylored to the 80x64 screen.

I'd buy it, to make a small game for it. It's not that bad price wise for $55. Don't care for the emulator aspect. Just want the tools easy to use and integrated with some game maker or game engine.

I think the fact that it is crowd funded is the main reason I'd stay away from it. They will surely have issues with the injection molding and the pcb. ;-)
