Robocop Vs. Terminator does not work on MEKA
Post Posted: Thu Sep 01, 2016 4:42 am
For some reason, the Robocop Vs. Terminator rom won't work on MEKA. It runs fine on Fusion, but for sprite ripping sake, I want to use MEKA due to it's layering features.

Can anyone help me out?

I just tried it and plays fine.

Are you using the latest version of MEKA?

I was using the 2014 edition, oops.

But I don't know how I can get it to "full screen" like the older one.

Press the Esc key for fullscreen.

That's not what I meant, I mean everything is all zoomed out on the new one. The old MEKA had everything zoomed in and you could play it without having to zoom in on the screen so you could see it. The biggest size you can set the window won't change the size of the game screen.

I'm not complaining too much because this new MEKA has more keyboard shortcuts (but unfortunately, the program crashes every now and then.

I think the solution is to find the file mekaw.cfg in MEKA folder, open it and put your current display resolution at video_gui_resolution. So, it won't be in a window anymore.

Update:

Even though I'm using the new updated emulator, the game still won't work.

I just tried it and it worked for me.

Is your file 524,288 bytes and CRC32 8212b754 ?

The file is exactly 524,288 bytes.

I have no idea what "CRC32 8212b754" means.

CRC is a quasi-unique identifier for the contents, used as a way to quickly checker if files are known/correct. If you ZIP the file, tools such as WinZIP or WinRAR sometimes show in the CRC in a column.

If Meka shows the game title it means it recognized the known dump.

It's working now, but only because I unzipped the game from the rar file.
