SMS compatibility

Are there any games known not to work on a Mark-III that only run correctly on a Japanese SMS, or vice-versa?
In particular there are a number of signals on the cartridge slot used in the SC-3000H that are absent from the Mark-III, and I'm curious if the Japanese SMS restores them or re-purposes them for other things, which could lead to cartridges that do not work with Mark-III.
I know the Basic cartridges for the SC-3000H do not work with the Mark-III because the DRAM in them isn't supported. But do they work with a Japanese SMS? (well, no keyboard input but it would at least boot and print how much RAM is available, or just less than 8K if the DRAM isn't working)
