Use of Website Images

Hello folks. First off, apologies if this is not the right place for this post.
I'm currently writing a book on the history of SEGA for a publisher in the UK. I'm at the point where I need to start collecting images for the book. I've used this site for my research and was wondering what the rights of use of any images hosted on the site might be? I do not have ant budget for permissions costs, but the site (and whomever took/ made the image, if necessary) would get full credit.
If anyone who owns/ runs SMS Power could reach out here that would be much appreciated.

Obviously many images are copyrighted by someone else, such as cover art and (to some extent) screenshots. I’d say that with credit given, it should be fine.
