Hi all!

We (Jacko and I) are pleased to announce that SMS Power! Radio is now playing 24/7!
We managed to get hold of a decent dedicated server with enough bandwidth to handle up to 1200 clients.

We will also be updating the website soon, so you can request songs when there's a live show, put messages in a shoutbox (because that's totally cool and web 2.0 and stuff), upload your own songs which will be played on the radio (after approval), and more!

Also, if you have songs you made yourself and would like to share them, you can PM me or Jacko. We'll give you our email address or maybe a temporary FTP account where you can upload them.

Totally missed this one, nice!

Still would be awesome to have an RSS feed so new eps are d/l by supported software (iTunes, podder etc).

I've set up an experimental page here:

http://www.smspower.org/Music/Radio

which gives you a possibly-conformable RSS feed. I'll have to discuss with Jacko and SteveSMS about whether they want to work this way or stay with their existing site structure.

That seems to work, iTunes is happy enough with the format at least.

I'm a little worried it'll re-download the episodes when the pages get edited (so the timestamp changes). I just tweaked it to put the newest ones at the top, I presume that's how these things work. I need to somehow frig the dates...

All good fellas I am going through the playlists and shizzle mobobs as we speak. I will be needing someones assistance with an unmetered upload internet to upload higher bitrate versions of the current shows :D
