WTB: Extra NTSC base consoles

I have a buddy who wants to get into SMS after I showed him some of the games on it one evening.
I have extra controllers, A/V cables and wall warts so I really just need the console itself. I live in the USA so an NTSC Model 1 is necessary.

I have a complete in box 3D system with Missile Defense built in that I am trying to unload. May be a little more then your friend is looking to spend though. Let me know.

Not looking for a CIB. Just the bare console; trying to keep it very thrifty here.
Although, he might be interested in it if it's at a price for the people.
