r2 (radare2) reverse engineering framework?

Has anybody used the reverse engineering framework r2 (aka radare2) to inspect SMS/GG/etc ROMs?

I'm interested to hear about your experiences.

They list various retrogaming rom extensions on their site, and Wikipedia lists Game Boy which is as fairly close match, so it seems promising.

I tried it last night using its Web UI.
Single screen interface is really nice.

It recognised the GG header.
Flow graphs are interesting.
It recognised strings.
It didn't recognise Other Data.
It didn't recognise Jump Tables.

Not sure how to give it an external symbols file.

Right now seems less useful than Emulicious.
