Crash Test Dummies Blister
Post Posted: Tue Jul 26, 2016 7:10 pm
Hi everybody.
Saturday I was in an old game store, and I saw 4 "Crash Test Dummies" under blister.
Personally, I must have 3 at home. I'm pretty sure there are many here who also has copies. I see often on Ebay.
And this leads me to wonder about the fact that there are really many on the market.

Is anyone know how it could be possible that so many copies are under blister ?

It's entirely possible that nobody liked that game back then... and nobody does, still.

I suppose that's just how this specific game was released (in a blister, as opposed to the vast majority of SMS games).

OK, it's not a secret, I know this game is not awful.
But this does not explain everything.
I would have loved to hear a story of an old warehouse, a palette of hidden games or a storage by a former employee of Flying Edge.
I find it still weird that there is so games on the market.
It's like the Rapid Fire Unit, it seems easier to find them with blister (mostly from Portugal)

Following research and a little talk with Bock, I realized that games with rigid blisters seem to be a French specificity. When I was young all the games in France in the late 80's / early 90's were sold with these blisters. Apparently this is not the case in most countries.
To illustrate, I saw these two on Ebay I post pictures to avoid this being permanently lost.
