Hi

I'm quite new to Mod2PSG2, and I find that the mouse cursor keeps becoming inactive. When it's working it's red, but often it turns white and stops working til I move it around the screen for a while. Then it turns red and starts working again.

Is this a known issue, and is there anything I can do about it?

Martin would be the best person to contact regarding this issue. He originally wrote the software... The only problem is I haven't seen him active for quite some time. He even used to drop by #smspower but haven't seen him there for a while.

Now. What Operating System are you running? I tried running mod2psg under Wine and it sucked. Do you also run it in Windowed or Fullscreen mode?

I have never experienced this issue in my years of using the software.

i'd been running it on windows xp, but i tried it on a newer computer today running windows 10 and i don't experience the problem on there. it must be that my xp computer has too low a spec perhaps. it's about 13 years old now.

it's my favorite computer though. :)

In 2014 Martin helped me debug the wine issue with latest version. It's just a font problem: unzip, replace the skins/default.skin file with the attached one in this post and you should be able to run it in a mac.

It has some issues still, when you run it more than once the window has some problems, but in the whole picture it's functional.
