SMS PAL problem
Post Posted: Fri Sep 25, 2015 7:55 am
Hi I have an old PAL SMS II.

It has some strange condition where the D-pad dont work, when I start up a game it pulls to the left.

Its not the controller, it does this even without a controller connected.

So in short left and right dont work, up, down and button 1-2 works.

I suspect the 315-5237 ASIC I/O controller is damaged,

Any Ideas?

Someone has a spare 315-5237 chip laying around? Thanks

I swapped the 315-5237 ASIC I/O controller from another broken SMS and solved it that way,
