I am now in Taichung City, Taiwan, in retro game collector Wenli's house with 18 cats, 2 dogs, and behind a secret door a cavern of game rarities and oddities.

I've got 35 new dumps so far :)
Taking a lot of pictures of software and will take picture of hardware tomorrow. Time is running out so I will report and post pictures when I am back home. |

Here's pictures of Sega Mark III compatible yellow cartridges.
Those are originally Japanese card games, here also packaged here as Gold Cartridge but with a generic package design and the cartridge plastic is yellow. The game title and artwork on the front is bit of cardboard hastly cut and stuck over a generic package. Based on Aaronix documents it seems like actual card games were also released in Taiwan but Wenli or I never saw any of those.

Some more pictures of hardware.
- Terebi Oekaki (Graphic Board) was released. The package and hardware content are identical except for a manual in Chinese. - Sega Mark III boards is identical to Japanese one (but shell is different). - SG-1000 II inside layout (how peripherals are disposed) is also identical to Japanese version.

Wenli has found new cartridges. He couldn't get any of them to work even when tried using the DahJee memory extension adapters. So they are a bit of a mystery at this point.
They match the City Connection & Twin Bee that I found a while ago, and I couldn't play City Connection as well. www.smspower.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11231 The names: Y-013 瑪琍兄弟 / Mǎ lí xiōngdì / ~~ Mario Brothers R-114 立體空戰 / Lìtǐ kōngzhàn / ~~ 3D Air Battle(?) R-113 網球 / Wǎngqiú / ~~ Tennis Y-105 七寶奇謀 / Qī bǎo qí móu / ~~ Goonies S-015 夢大陸 / Mèng dàlù[/url] Note that Penguin (Adventure?) has a picture label on both sides of the cartridge, which is the first time I've seen that.
