Whodunit: Shimada Kikaku

So I've been talking to Shouichi Yoshikawa (read the interview here). We got to talking about Shimada Kikaku, which was run by Junzou Shimada, who was once with Sanritsu. After he told me Shimada's full name, I showed him the credits from one of our mystery developers. He recognized the other designers (Yuuko Chikuda, Yousuke Ikeda), but not the programmers. But I'm just going to assume they were working for Shimada.

Programmer Junya Shimoda's Facebook profile lists "Monster World III" (Wonder Boy in Monster World) for the Master System.

With this new information, I noticed visual similarities between GG Frogger and other Shimada games. It shares fonts with WBMW and the WBMW proto. It also has this filler graphic that says "S PLAN," which is what Shimada Kikaku was renamed to years later.

I would also say GG Aerial Assault is by Shimada as it also shares a font.

Comparison:

(Note: CrossFire was a Famicom game Junzo Shimada worked on. Felix the Cat for the NES was developed by Shimada Kikaku.)

So does this mean WBMW was developed by Sanristu not Westone?
