RGB troubles
Post Posted: Fri Mar 30, 2007 10:59 am
Hi,
I've been using composite on my master system 1 for a long time, without problems. Now I connected my MS1 with an rgb scart connector. The picture is very clear and sharp but I have a rather large border on the left of my screen! So my image is shifted to the right and I'm missing a part to the right. I connected my MS to my other TV set and I have the same problem. My rgb lines are filtered with 220µF capacitors and 75ohm resistors. I also tried connecting scart pin 20 with the C-SYNC OUT of the CXA1145 chip instead of C-VIDEO OUT but still the same problem.
Anyone experienced the same problem?

Unfortunatly this seems to be a problem with many TVs using any RGB scart connection.

Notice the blue border on the right. Lazy TV companies letting this defect slip through...
