I know the Power Base Converter for Genesis doesn’t support SG-1000 My Card games but does the Mega Adaptor for Mega Drive?

Sega Genesis video processor isn't compatible with SG-1000 games.

This I know but was wondering if the same is true of the Mega Drive with the Mega Adaptor?

It's just an adaptor, there's no video hardware inside it.

Correct but I thought the Mega Drive may have some different components than the Genesis to make it possible.

The SEGA Genesis and the MegaDrive are the same console, it just happens to be sold under two different names in different continents.

Correct although some games are region locked. Just wasn’t sure if the Mega Drive had any additional hardware like the Japanese Master System had FM audio built in. I asked because I saw sales posts noting My Card games were supported with the Mega Adaptor but know now it is just the Mark III my cards.
