I changed the LCD an old Gamegear and occasionally I get a vertical line that appears but I think I know which pin I need to reflow to cure that one. If I press on a particular part of the flat cable connection on the mainboard it goes away.
My main trouble is the LCD screen now gets a flicker/shake and I can't seem to figure out how to cure it. My assumption is there's another pin that needs to be reflowed. Or maybe several but I can't trace it.
It's kinda like a VSync problem.
