game gear low sound

I have a 2 asic european game gear.
I've replaced all the caps.
The audio board was tested in another console and it's working.
So my console has very low sound.
I have inspected the main board and I found a missing cap that leads to the R audio line. I've replaced it. It made no difference.
Any ideas?

How does the audio sound through the headphone socket on the troublesome Game Gear?

From the headphones and the speaker it's the same. You can barely hear it.
