Unicode 16 Symbols for Legacy Computing Supplement

Unicode famously tries to represent all of the world’s writing, and to this end they previously tried to add symbols in the character set of old computers via Symbols for Legacy Computing. This attempt did not consider the needs of the SC-3000 and SF-7000 (default) font, which you can view here: https://www.smspower.org/Development/SC-3000Font
I saw recently that a new attempt is being made for Unicode 16 with additional symbols being added; the best document seems to be this PDF: https://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/Unicode-16.0/U160-1CC00.pdf but I couldn’t find a reference linking characters to the “legacy computer” they are intended for. I can see that we now have the missing race car, but I’m not sure about the faces and the combining Æ fragment. It’s presumably far too late to add anything to it, but maybe it’s progress towards importing and exporting Basic (and other) programs as text. |

Some info here, but still quite vague. No reference to SEGA systems, AFAIK. |
