Will the PAR Cartridge work with a Gender Adapter on a Japanese MS?

I assume no, but can someone with a Gender Adapter please confirm whether the Pro Action Replay works with it on a Japanese machine.
I am sure people have tried it out of curiosity!

It doesn't work, some signals being missing from the Mark III cartridge slot (!M1, !NMI, !INT).
Or are you talking of the expansion port? That should work.

Yes the Gender Adapter plugged into the Expansion port.
If someone could test it and confirm I will then buy one from Bock!
