Programmer for EPROM

hello i am new on the forum my name is roy from the netherlands and i have a question,is it possible to program a 27C256 eprom chip with for example Tails' Skypatrol from gg to play on the master system,i am going to buy a
USB Programmer for EPROM and some eprom chips and i am verry new to eprom and programming stuff .please help me.I would like to make some reproductions of unreleased and homebrew games for my own collection with some nice covers and stuff

the 27C256 is only 32KB in size, no way you'll put Tails game on it

another question what is the difference between d27c256 and 27c256?
i am new in eprom stuff and i am reading a lot now,is it possible to put a 32kb rom on a for example 2mbit eprom?

that D makes no difference, each manufacturer has its own first letter. AM27C010 and I27C010 are same things, just one is by AMD, other by Intel.

You can put a 32KB game on a 256KB EPROM. You also got to deal with banking on any game that is larger than 32KB, most games require banking hardware.

Original games do mostly have single chip, but it also has integrated banker. There is a page about different external banking chips here on the development pages.
