Problem with getting CJ Elephant working

I was wondering if there was some setting in MEKA that was needed. I've been assuming support was never added since it doesn't work in any version of MEKA I've used.
It works excellently in emulicious, but that emulator doesn't currently log vgms. I looked up the old news post yesterday and it had posts of pictures and people beating the game, so I assume it worked once upon a time.
There's no mention of adding special settings to the meka.pat file or any other notes to get it working. I assume it has to do with its mapper. Maybe some bug was introduced.
I'd appreciate help getting it working. All I get is a black screen screen. It infinite loops at 621-623, reading ina 7E.

This is a bug in the meka.nam file
You can edit the file and add the /EMU_MAPPER=3 setting to the game to fix it:
GG 72981057 233F58409660EF21 CJ Elephant Fugitive/COUNTRY=EU,US/PRODUCT_NO=17014/EMU_MAPPER=3
Or completely remove the line. If there's no entry MEKA will auto-detect the mapper and it'll work as well. I suppose that when I tested the game I did it before adding the entry in meka.nam and then forgot to test it after adding the entry.
