Arrangement.

This is a "TRANCY" instrumental arrangement of the MAIN BGM theme ( 1st stage) from the game "SPACE HARRIER". The VGM file was converted in MIDI in order to be imported in CUBASE, where I've managed instruments tracks; Samples were Created in FRUITY LOOPS and arranged in ACID PRO. Best regards guys !

Trance and anything electronica is not really my style of music, but since i know this song very well, and i even entered in one of the competitions in previous years, i can like what you did here.

Some of the changes in the bassline, especially in the intro, works like a nice build-up for the main melody, which have a very present bassline.

Your breakdowns sound cool too.

The ending was kind of meh to me, but i really don't know how it work in the style, and if it is something common in it.

Good job on it.

Thanks tibone for your comment.

This song have a very long story.
I was very young when I played this game and I liked this song so much.
With the passing years, I have learned to make music with my computer and this song is one of the best result (according to me).
Unfortunately I do not have much time now to devote to music.

yes, the last part of the song usually ending in a "reduction" of instruments...in order to introduce the next one.

The first part is too long and too boring in my opinion, but it gets much better from 3:40 onwards. Unfortunately it's still too long for me.

I enjoyed it. After 3 minutes is the good part.

It's very much in the trancy dance style in that it goes on rather long. The source material is awesome, though, I've listened to the VGM on infinite loop for a few hours before; but this one is not as good as the original in that respect. A bit shorter (3 minutes) would be better for most listeners. There is a fair bit of variety though.
