Games which change the palette mid-frame

There exists a tag for games which use parallax scrolling, often implemented by changing the horizontal scroll value mid-frame. I'd like to see a similar tag for games which change the palette mid-frame.
What should it be named? Something like "Palette Raster FX"? Here's an initial list of games which the tag would apply to - presumably there are more: Sonic The Hedgehog (SMS & GG) Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (GG) Space Harrier (SMS & GG) Space Harrier 3D (SMS) (S.S. Lucifer) Man Overboard! (GG) |

I can't think of a better name for it.

I think the tag page could do with some screenshot examples of the various uses of the palette raster FX. I can only think of a few use cases, it'd be interesting to see if there are any more inventive uses of the capability.
There's at least one racing game (I think the GG Kawasaki one?) that uses palette raster FX to provide depth shading. |

I can take care of some of those games, I'll do a couple of the Sonic ones, I don't think all of them are needed since the water is always more or less the same.
I'm not uploading screenshots on the wiki just yet, though, since there isn't a final decision about this yet. So I'll attach them here and wait for the future. |

Certainly, we don't need a screenshot for each game, just examples of the effect.
