I don't know how's the weather has been for you but here it still justify our continuing summer of dumps pretty well ! We've got 5 new dumps today including two particularly nice ones.

First we do have a nifty prototype of Golfmania. A few years ago we released a prototype of the game but here we've got an even earlier prototype with a working title of Super Golf for the Master System !

Now on for a little gaming gem: Knightmare II: The Maze of Galious / Maseong Jeonseol II (마성전설 II) for the Samsung Gam*Boy / Master System. Released in 1987 by Konami on the MSX1, this highly loved game is a great example of using MSX1-type of hardware with great talent. This action-adventure game is massive and gorged with rooms, monsters and items. Control Popolon and Aphrodite (quoting) entering the evil priest Galious' castle to free their yet-to-be-born son Pampas from the priest's evil clutches.

Originally the game used the MSX1 keyboard to activate some features. This Master System conversion uses Controller 2 for those features. Use Controller 2 to pause the game (featuring a lovely sprite), access inventory or use certain special items. Beware that pressing the Master System "Pause" button will crash the game!

If you want some hints about the game, the internet has plenty of FAQ. But simple ones such as http://www.strafefox.nl/warpzone/mog.htm may give you a good idea of where to start and of the scope of the game :)

Some of our recent Korean releases may not be supported by all emulators. If you're having trouble with your favorite emulator, the latest competent version of MEKA should emulate them ( download at http://smspower.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13019&start=50 ). Else please bug your favorite emulator author to add support for those mappers!

Bonus variations releases:

- Korean version of Bomb Jack (범짹) for the SG-1000, two different dumps, We've got two variations of the cartridge, one displaying a "Boram" logo which was the distributor for the game. Some details from Derboo:
"Boram was a Software distributor. Since Bomb Jack predates the Korean software copyright law, it was legal for anyone to copy & sell it (as the law was not retroactive, at least in the beginning). The phenomenon was more prevalent on MSX/Zemmix, since it arrived in Korea earlier, but it happened with early SG-1000/SMS games, too.

The cartridge holding the Boram logo include has the Sega logo replaced by a Korean Gam*Boy equivalent, and both have copyright etc. infos blanked out.

- Korean version of Lode Runner for the SG-1000, curiously labeled "Lode Runner I" for additional precision.
