[VGM Pack] Joe Montana Football
Post Posted: Tue Aug 30, 2011 2:52 pm
Another VGM Pack that was present in both SMS and GG systems.

The SMS port was made in 1990 by BlueSky & Sega, the GG port was made in 1991 (Japanese release at 1992/5/22). But the game is not in Japanese...

There are three musics: Title Screen (used as Game Set), a Unknown music (probaly used as Game Set, but in another mode?) and the only loopable music in the game: Clotho from Columns (and tagged Tokuhiko Uwabo as the composer in file). I don't know, but BlueSky put Clotho again in Dick Tracy (filling space?).

Have Fun!

I removed the Clotho track. Since it is identical to the track found in Columns, and it is never used in the game, I don't see the value in having the VGM in the pack.

Considering that the source code for Columns was given to some developers, i wonder if they hadn't based their sound code on that "sample" and left a Columns track here?

I think that is the same case that applies on Double Hawk: Has some Cloud Master/Chuka Taisen musics (both in PSG/FM). Probaly, Sanritsu (now SIMS) or Opera House put these musics or has developed the game in the same engine that Cloud Master uses.
