The votes are in, we've counted them up and done some highly advanced suspicious voting analysis, and here's the results:

Music competition 2011

Top five:

1. Wonderboy In Monsterland (Orchestral Version) by gregglesaurus
2. en värd fyra-jävel by AbbeAbyss
3. Turn Off Your Radio by thematrixeatsyou
4. Don't Warp Me to the Desert by LieMfB
5. First Match by Mike Whitemount

Coding competition 2011

Top five four:

1. Snake by Wickeycolumbus
2. vg-fighter by vingazole
3. Rental Car by aypok & playgeneration
4. New Duel by losinggeneration

Congratulations to all involved. We'll be in touch soon about the prizes. We're expecting to distribute 5 Master Everdrives (or Everdrive GGs) between the two competitions.

The voting was very close this year. There was some suspicious voting, the offending entry ended up pretty low in the ranks after "adjustment" but I hope nobody else got affected. I've upgraded the voting system for next time... when suspicious voting will be even easier to detect and undo.

So ehr.... What about the next competition? Will there be any?

I certainly hope so. Also hoping for some longer development time now that most entries are not finished.

Congratulations to everyone ! I can't wait to receive my SMS Everdrive and try my programs on a REAL system ! I hope i will have time to make a full game from the little program i submitted to the competition though there's a lot of work to do like making a background editor, add a title screen, add new types of enemies,etc...

Thank you!!! :)

I hope to make more remixes in the future. And thank you for the EverDrive, I will be taking my Mum's SMS with me when I move to Sydney next week and putting it to good use!

I'd like to thank Shinichi-San, for making such wonderful happy music, and also to my hero, Nobuo Uematsu, who was probably one of my main inspirations for making orchestrated video game music. I got to meet him last night at Final Fantasy Distant Worlds, which was a lot of fun. (sorry, I realise that's very un-Sega-ish of me to name drop him like that)

And thank you to all the SMSPower! community for voting and for your kind words, encouragement and constructive criticism. I hope to be a more active participant in the forums.

I have now paid for the Everdrive cartridges, and 1 has been generously donated by KRIKzz! So they should be shipped and arrives to winner shortly.

If you haven't won may I suggest having a look at those excellent cartridges: http://krikzz.com/ :)

Hi all and thanks for the competition!
I'm definitely happy to be on 4th place!

I do think the previous competition (2009) was more fun (great atmosphere and talk in the forum), and I'm not saying that because I won that one, but this one had more great music. Turn Off Your Radio was my personal fave! Maybe I'll get around to polish and edit my own track a little. I love some of the sounds I got, but parts of it were a little rushed.

See ya'll soon!
