Would someone like to make a video of the four coding competition entries? Let's say 30s of playing each? Then I can embed it above along with the music entries...

I could probably do it tonight (5-6 hours from now) if nobody else wants to step forward to. |

I did finish recording them, but it's probably close to 2 AM so I'm not sure if Maxim will get back to me tonight or not. I thought it'd be best if a neutral party (Maxim in this case, unless someone else wants to) review the videos before they get posted. I also thought perhaps they might want to post them with the same account to keep all the entries together.

Voting will probably be 1-2 weeks, depending on whether I get around to it :)

We e-mailed everyone for the voting to attract people - its true that we could have done a better job at announcing the competition. We however have that competition every year (or almost) for March 27.

Erm... yeah, we didn't announce it very strongly. We don't usually bulk-mail but I did yesterday to try to encourage some more comments and voting - after all, that means a lot more than the final scores
I think most members would be unhappy to get spam about the competition. We did announce it and trail it on every page of the site since 20th January :) Anyway, in the interests of getting the word out: there'll be another competition in 2012. Deadline will be 27th March. |
