On the road to completeness, more obscures and clarifying dumps released today!

Blink again - What did you just see?
Alex Kido for the Game Gear is an unlicensed Taiwanese release of everyone's favorite kidd's adventure. It's visibly glorious on the outside, with a packaging using the Japanese artwork in Game Gear format - a sight that would make many gamers convulse in desire. But otherwise the game is basically a simple "legal infos" hack of the Japanese version stuck on a Game Gear cartridge (remember that GG is fully compatible with SMS games) and the manual is set of copies of the Japanese manual. This dodgy version of the game is very rare and we're happy to bring it to you today. Some more informations can be found on the forum thread.

Taito Chase H.Q. (タイトーチェイスH.Q.) for the Game Gear, another game running in Master System compatibility, is one of those games whose different dumps lead to confusion for a long time. Here we have the proper legit US dump, previously unavailable. The dumps available until now comes are the Japanese version. Here's a quick summary of the correct dumps to dissipate confusion:

85cfc9c9 - Taito Chase H.Q. (SMS version, 256 KB)
c8381def - Taito Chase H.Q. [SMS-GG] (GG US version, 128 KB) *NEW*
7bb81e3d - Taito Chase H.Q. [SMS-GG] (GG JP version, 128 KB)

To add to the mess, the SMS version is larger than the GG one and its use of the 256 KB memory is totally messy and include duplicated data. This is however how the original cartridge is.

Out Run Europa for the Game Gear follow the exact same pattern as Chase H.Q.: it is a Game Gear game using the SMS graphic mode, its various dumps are confusing, and its a very similar game to Taito Chase H.Q. Whereas the former is smooth but pretty dull and repetitive, Out Run Europa is a more interesting game and manage to get many graphics variations showing while keeping a animation speed not to be ashamed of. The dump released today comes from European and Brasilian cartridges of the game (whereas the dump available until now as a US version).

Finally a minor clarification: Congo Bongo (コンゴボンゴ) for the SG-1000, properly stripped down to a file of 24 KB which is the correct size of the game.
