Sorry about posting this so late, but I wanted to confirm that on my Sega Game Music Vol 2. soundtrack (which includes Fantasy Zone, Hang On, plus a few more), "Hiro" is given credit for writing. I am sure his full name is there somewhere, but I don't read Japanese. If anyone is dying for confirmation, I can get a friend who reads Japanese to try to find his name.
