Where's the fun in buying someone else's collection? I find more satisfaction in building up my own collection bit by bit.

I don't think this is as rare as the seller makes it out to be. I got a loose copy of MK3 for about £12.

It's rare to see a boxed copy - first one i've seen this year.

Somebody on another forum said that they had seen a boxed MK3 sell for £120. I wouldn't be surprised if it was this copy and the seller wants to get most of the "investment" back.

Either way, it's a terrible game!

The cart is common as muck though? Probably just as common as Sonic 1 and Columns on eBay.

It probably wouldn't even set you back £2.

My copy cost 1p plus 99p for postage and packing. The seller even threw in a free copy of PGA Tour Golf.

The guy has ended the auction now - somebody made an out of auction offer.

Shame - I would have liked to see how much a boxed copy is worth.

I had one on ebay a long time ago, think i only got about £35 for it, I was expecting more as I reckon its one of the rarest boxes to find. But I've sold another one direct to a collector for £100 :o)

Nice one, Braveheart69.

A few other auctions (not mine) that might be of interest -

Tail's Sky Patrol - $1 start with no bids. Cheap postage

Bundle of 3 games including the rare Wizard Pinball - 1 Euro start with no bids

Yeah I only collect sealed or CIB. Only missing 5 boxes on my first USA set including all variants no matter how minute with about 75% sealed/new. My second USA set is about 75 boxes away from being complete. I already have Wizard Pinball CIB, but thanks for the link all the same. My European CIB set including all known variants is about 30 away but I just got the badass daddy of them all today! :) My CIB Japan set is 48 away from being complete. The set I'm having the hardest time with is the Brazil set, I've only got about 1/2 of it CIB or sealed/new. Hope to add your Super Return of the Jedi though soon and knock another one off the Euro list!

It sold within hours - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290457064361&ssPage...

That would be the Grand Daddy I spoke of getting today! :)

I emailed the guy when he pulled it the first time as I already bought a few of his small GG lots, including the F-15 previously mentioned. I told him to relist it and I'd buy it. He said he wanted to make it CIB, which I really didn't care about as I have plenty of 4 in 1 cart/book extras. SO FREAKIN HAPPY TO MARK THAT OFF MY LIST!!!!!!

That's cool, man - a lot of uncommon GameGear game seem to have surfaced on eBay recently.

I'm still waiting for another copy of Smurf 2 (Smurfs Travel the World) to come up.

I think my collection stands at about 250 titles; about 100 are boxed. I'm not far off from having a full set of PAL releases, but most are loose.

I have two Brazillian games - Mini Golf (Putt and Putter) and Crazy Company (Factory Panic). I got them off eBay about two months ago - I was the only bidder on both!

I have 5 CIB Brazil doubles for Game Gear right now. I'd be happy to trade them for anything I need be it USA, Euro, Japan, Brazil, or pirate even.

I just sold my double Smurfs 2 CIB Euro about 2 months ago. It went for around $75 on eBay if I remember right. I bought two of them CIB about a year and a half ago from a French seller and the one in my collection is perfect mint. The double I sold was very nice CIB and I thought went for a fair price, although due to it's rarity could have gone for more.

The 150 GBP I paid for the 4 in 1 box may seem like alot but it's peanuts compared to what I had to pay to complete my USA NES collection. Thank goodness Game Gear stuff isn't as popular as NES. I paid over $7,000 just to get the Stadium Events box I needed to become only the 2nd person with a complete CIB USA NES collection. There are 3 of us now. By the way I'm a mod over on NintendoAge if anyone from here crosses over to NES.
Cheers!

Braveheart69 - What US games are you missing? I have about 20 or so. Also, are you missing Crazy Company or Mini Golf from your Brazil set?

Maxim - Have a scanner. If you can tell me what you're missing I'll see if I have the boxes and scan them in.

High-res (300dpi) scans of everything would be great, but... it will take ages. If you want to focus the effort, I suggest doing the best condition ("mintest"?) ones and the rarities - both of which have the advantage that you get to show off.

GG Brasilian set
Post Posted: Sun Jul 25, 2010 1:47 am
Braveheart69, NonShinyGoose: I started a thread to discuss Brasilian GG releases because I don't have a full list of them myself.
http://smspower.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12444
Can you help completing that list?
More scans would be great, the GG section is greatly lacking now.

I added my master collection list Brazil tab to the thread you requested I post in Bock.

Personally I have Brazil doubles right now of:
Crazy Company CIB
G-LOC CIB
Minigolf CIB
Shapes and Columns CIB
Space Battle CIB

All are in very nice shape with the inner plastic cart holder and intact hangtabs. If anyone is interested in trading or purchasing these they are available here only (right now). Trades would be preferred but would sell as well.
Thanks!

Speaking of TecToy games: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260642473635&ssPage...

Bundle of 5 Brazilian GG games (GP MONACO, CASTLE OF ILLUSION,
SHAPES AND COLUMNS, PSYCHIC WORLD and SHINOBI) with a $9.99 start.

Yesterday a US seller listed a working GG with 3 games, one of which was Mega Man, for $15 (about £9) on a BIN auction. Naturally, it sold within an hour.

Just so my fellow GG collectors across the pond know there is a CIB Euro copy of Fantastic Dizzy for sale on eBay right now from a USA seller. Very cheap too. If anyone needs it I would be happy to buy it and offer it up as trade. I can't remember if they allow out of USA bidders or not. If I didn't already have one I would totally buy it.

I saw that Brazil lot you mentioned, unfortunately I already have them all CIB or sealed.

No sorry, I needed the F-15 CIB for my PAL set. Also I have lots of double cart and books for the 4 in 1 pack but I needed the box I just bought just like most everyone else does. I will be bidding on the Super Return of the Jedi again, sorry we have to fight over it but I haven't seen one come up in awhile.

Bonjour rg010803! I have seen photos of your collection before on here - looks great. Well done on Tarzan.

I nearly got a loose Tarzan at the weekend...but...well, it's a long story. The seller did a dirty on me, basically. I managed to get my money back though.

I have Power Drive and F-15 but they are loose.

Braveheart - What are the 5 US games that you're missing? I might be able to help you out.

Shame. :o(

Hopefully another copy comes along soon!

I didn't expect it to sell for that much - it was on £30-odd for ages, so i'm quite pleased with the amount it went for.
