Yes it's too much.
It was released only in Japan, I don't know in which quantity for certainly a decent amount (maybe 10000?) since it appears regularly on auctions.

It can be purchased for less than 60 euros in Japan, so surely even an import should not in theory cost you more than 100. That's the theory. The practice is that collectors often fall into the trap of purchasing those for insane amount.

It is not that rare. I bidded on it twice in the past.
