I'm the high bidder so far on this ebay auction:

I think the more interesting community wise would be the data on disks.
Maybe an early GG board such at this could also be useful in understanding some hardware details as well, not sure.
Z80 emulator if used correctly could be useful to get insight on some timing issue (if any) but one has to be courageous to trace using this.

Apologies for the incorrect forum placement, I figured it was from a music developer so it would fit more into that section.

I doubt I'll end up as the final bidder now, though - I noticed it's been posted on the Assembler boards, and the people there have a tendency to be pretty flush with cash (well beyond my means, anyway)... hopefully whoever wins will be generous.

I'm pretty sure the disk contents are just the PC drivers/software for the Z80 emulator. (notice 'ZAX' on the disk as well as the emu and ISA cards). The emulator itself isn't really Sega specific, I've seen these sold elsewhere.

I'd guess the Z80 (or Z80 ICE) goes in that unpopulated 40-pin socket next to the SMS cartridge slot.

Ouch thats $375 australian. Theres a weeks wages well spent. This little gem should hopefully be of some use to SMSPower!.

Maxim, go easy on Bock, he'll still be able to get food, he may just have to live off take away for a while, at least he will still be eating (just kidding)
