does anyone have the diagrams for catridges. how many pins does my EPROM have to have, what other stuff do I need, and which pins link up to the metal at the bottom of the cart PCB?

Schematics for a cart wouldn't do you much good, as the bankswitching hardware is on the ROM chip (!) for most games.

If you want to build a cart, you have to either limit yourself to about 32k or 48k of ROM (unswitched), or use a PLD to simulate the bankswitching circuitry. Either way, the schematics won't help you (the pinout would, and that's available via the tech area here).
