Back in the time the Master System was released, Ni****do had contact with several company, forbidding them from releasing products for other systems. I don't know if it was actually legal, but when the NES was dropped, many company switched to the Master System, waiting for the newer, 16-bits console systems to be widely spread.Mercs is a direct port of the arcade game by Capcom, in fact developed by Sega. It has been released in 1990 and fans of this game (the Arcade and Genesis versions are superb) may want to check this version.
