SMS 3-D Demo released
Post Posted: Mon May 30, 2005 11:16 am
Hi, folks. I took a little break from trying to hack the video from the GG to play around with another idea I had in my head: 3-D imagery.

So, I put together a demo for the SMS that will display 15 images in a slideshow. Of course, to see the 3-D images at their best, you should use the SMS 3-D glasses (on a real SMS?). However, all the pictures after the first two are also viewable using glasses with coloured filters (red/green, red/blue, etc.)

You can download the demo here:

Please let me know what you think!

(Sorry for the filesize; I didn't bother to compress the graphics much.)

And here is an example of the 3-D effect made possible through cross-eyed viewing:

One, because several of the images I took from 任天堂's Virtual Boy which was a dedicated 3-D machine.

Two, because I know that every time I put Mario on a Sega system, some of you guys here go crazy. ;)

Hi Chris, first I must say Great Job! finally having some time on myhands I was able to check this out using my adapter with MEKA and your demo works very well with a pair of SEGA 3-D Glasses running WinXP. I must say that Mario never looked so good :)

Say, isn't there also a GG version of this? I think I saw it on Pouet.net...

No, I just used the "Enigma demo green balls" idea for both this and my GG Hicolor demo.
