Interface Slot again!

I did read the long thread down there about the sms's interface slot , and now
something come to my mind...someone has a japanese sms?? beyond the cart slot, the sms power base
is identical to the usa. The japanese system accept a FM addon...so..maybe these slot
is used for a FM addon in Japan, but Sega didnt want to bring it to the rest of the world, so
they just ignored that slot.
