Sample/Prototype Cartridges + Camera discussion

Again a poor quality picture...
I took various pictures on the same day so figured I could post them.

I am considering buying a new digital camera. Can someone recommend a decent one? It is worth spending "a lot" (eg: $400) in one? I'm worrying about the len quality. Although my current camera can take pictures up to 1600x1200, they are pretty ugly when you look at them at 100% size.

Do you own it? Could you make a few pictures? of, say... game boxes (close), game boxes lots (far), peripherals, and perhaps some real life pictures as well :)

I don't have one yet because it's kinda expensive.
It costs about US$800 but here in Brazil it even more expensive, like R$3700.

My current digital camera is a Canon PowerShotA70 (3.2MP - 2048x1536). It is a very good camera.

Here are some pictures that i've taken using it. (reduced resolution to reduce the filesize)
All pictures were taken using a normal camera flash since the illumination was pretty bad in that day.

There are plenty of cosplay pictures in my website, all taken using this camera. Here is the main URL: http://imperiopso.brinkster.net/cosplay/
