That's very cool, especially the jpg, and of course the Mario bit. And having all the generations of Bock Lee Temjin, Opa Opa, etc was a nice touch. /me is very jealous :( Maxim |

Took me quite some to do the box. I made it from stratch using Photoshop and approximated everything, so it's not looking perfect but it's nice indeed. Should I release my .PSD file ?
Actually it's missing the last Opa Opa from The Maze. Notice that characters are in order based on Japanese releases order.
I wish I did a very cool VGM player! |

Well, yes :) or at least just make a nice JPG and put it in the scans archive, that'll fool some people :)
You could have had Opa Opa and Upa Upa. I say that since I read the ending sequence directly from the ROM while hacking it so I know the red one's name :P
Figures :P
You did - you wrote one that is also a game music engine (which was my original intention). Maxim |

That's just plain old fashioned home cookin' awesome!
I can't think of any character missing that I'd want in there. Though I might have denied the character from Captian Silver from entering, if it was my demo. I'll just pretend that when he went inside, alex kidd punched him in the nuts. I liked the "GIFT" catagory on the box cover. Did you hear back from Masato with his reaction yet? |

or mickey though. Very neat! |

I'm glad you too have something against this game. It's just.. too non-SMSish.
He was very happy, and said the demo made him want to play many SMS games, so he did. |

You know what really riles me? this. Now, come on... is that whole site a joke? On the basis of that, I think it has to be. Maxim |

Yes, also consider the fact that Double Dragon was rated as B+ on NES and F on the SMS. Now it does state that the scores are compared to other games on these consoles, but bloody hell. "The characters aren't very detailed and the backgrounds are plain."? Bollocks, mate. Look at the NES version. I wouldn't be surprised if this was speculation. I was also disappointed in the review of SMS's Fantasy Zone, especially the comments about the music, and calling the game homosexual. What a fool. -MaRkiSH |
