How can I assign the ";" key in the keyboard with a button of the Master System joypad?
If I do it and exit Meka, the program crashes at the next startup, and then I need to manually edit Meka.inp to assign another key.

Absolutly right.
; is used as the comment character, and I admit I didn't thought about the fact using this key would interface with the file format :)
I'll see what I can do for next release!

Heh... what that is, is Zoop's put in a filter to raise an error if there's a comment character (ie. semicolon) in an input definition. Hoist by his own petard, you could say. Zoop, please do sloppier programming in future to save us from all these bugs :o)
BTW, to answer your question, you can't. Ah well. Wait for 0.57...
ZOOP RELEASE MEKA 0.57 IN 2001, YES?
:o)
