Quite simply some of the best games never ended up anywhere EXCEPT Japan. This especially true with RPGs (which sadly require the most knowledge of the language). SF Gaiden is one of the many games which the rest of the world has been deprived of (another good example is Monster World IV - aka: Wonder Boy VI). Fortunatly for most Shining Force fans the game is still quite playable. Unlike the Genesis/Mega Drive & Saturn games the Game Gear SF games have minimal RPG portions. The games are basically one battle after another so even if you can't read the text you can still play the game quite easily.

PS - God bless Zoop & the whole SMS Power team for releasing this ROM!!!!!
