Meka and type-in listings

I typed-in a listing from a magazine that is for the SC3000. Saved it with the ending .sc within an editor.
Is there a way to start this Level III Basic program with meka? If I try to load it now, the screen remains black. |

There isn’t a way to load this in Meka. SC files are the ROM image, there isn’t a way to load text files into the in-memory BASIC representation. | |

Would it be possible then, to implement something like paste & copy?
My aim is to preserve listings from magazines by typing them in, you see. I also typed a little "Hello world" within Level III Basic and saved it. All seemed to work good, but the program was nowhere to find. Did I do somethin wrong? Or do you know of any other emulator that can do what I want. |

The typed-in data is stored "tokenised" in memory. There is code to convert between these and other formats that can be loaded by emulators here:
https://github.com/fabiodl/sctape Only the SF-7000 DSK format is compatible with Meka; the tape formats are compatible with MAME. Others may suggest emulators I don't know about. See also https://www.smspower.org/forums/7816 The only way to save typed-in code in Meka currently is to use savestates. |
