Ninja Gaiden for Game Gear

Is the Ninja Gaiden (GG) that was released today different than the one that has been floating around already?

they seem the same but with the older version I have the SEGA logo at the start is messed up - just the blue outline is shown not the white bits - so this new one is probably a better dump or the older one was just the jap version
Anyway - not as good as the SMS - and nowhere near as good as the Arcade Ninja Gaiden

Yes, I do see a small difference on the Sega logo screen.
